Founder, "Cops and Clergy" Ecumenical Ministry, Monument, CO (2010) - Developed ecumenical fund and process for transient travelers in conjunction with Monument Police Department and local clergy.
President, Park City Interfaith Council (2004-2006) - Responsible for organizing and leading the community interfaith group, which meets monthly.
Board Member, Recycle Utah (2005-2007) – Served on Board of Directors for non-profit community recycling center.

Officer, Infantry, Pennsylvania Army National Guard (1984 – 1991). Served in a variety of leadership positions including heavy mortar platoon leader, scout platoon leader, company executive officer, officer candidate school instructor, and assistant battalion intelligence officer. Awards included Infantry Officer Basic Course Commandant’s List (Ft. Benning, GA), Air Assault Badge, and Army Achievement Medal (2 awards).
Radio Copywriter, WMAJ/WXLR, State College, PA (1987 – 1988). Wrote, produced, and scheduled commercials and promotional pieces for AM and FM radio stations.
Historical Interpreter, Gettysburg National Military Park, Gettysburg, PA (Summers 1985 and 1986). Led walking tours of the battlefield for visitors using first-person soldier impressions. Conducted research and lectures on various aspects of the battle.
